About Program
This fellowship provides structured clinical training in diagnostic and therapeutic gastrointestinal endoscopy for physicians developing advanced endoscopy skills. It covers endoscopy unit practice, patient assessment and preparation, safe use of equipment, upper and lower gastrointestinal procedures, tissue sampling, haemostasis, polypectomy, and the recognition and management of complications. The program also addresses documentation, quality indicators, infection prevention, and evidence-based decision-making. By the end, fellows will be prepared to perform and interpret routine endoscopic procedures within appropriate supervision, safety standards, and local clinical protocols.
