Post-Doctoral Research Fellowship Program - 2026

 

The Ramnath Prasad Institute of Higher Education (RPIHE) Foundation invites applications from highly motivated and meritorious researchers for its prestigious Post-Doctoral Fellowship (PDF). This program is conducted under the aegis of the Neuro Clinical Research Foundation (NCRF).

This fellowship offers a unique platform for aspiring scientists and medical professionals to gain advanced training in cutting-edge areas of Medical Science, Clinical Research, and Public Health.

 

1. Focus Areas of Research

We encourage research proposals in the following domains:

• Clinical & Basic Medical Sciences: Neurology, Cardiology, Diabetes, Oncology (Cancer Biology).

• Public Health: Epidemiology, Infectious & Communicable Diseases, Reproductive Health.

• Technology in Medicine: GenoAI Diagnostics, Nanoscience-based Platforms, Biotechnology & Bioinformatics.

• Rural Health: Non-Communicable Diseases in Rural Populations.

 

2. Fellowship Categories

To accommodate both full-time researchers and working professionals, we offer two distinct categories:

Category A: Project-Based Fellow (Full Time)

• For whom: Dedicated researchers willing to work full-time at our research center.

• Financial Support: Stipend/Fellowship amount is subject to approval of specific project grants (CSR/Government).

• Requirement: Must adhere to strict attendance and research output norms.

Category B: Research and Development Fee (Part-Time Fellow)

• For whom: Working Doctors, Faculty Members, or Researchers who want to pursue research alongside their job.

• Fee Structure: Candidates are required to pay a Bench Fee of ₹ 60,000/- (Per Annum) for using lab facilities, mentorship, and data access.

• Flexibility: Hybrid mode (Online/Offline) research is permitted.

 

3. Eligibility Criteria

• Nationality: Open to Indian Citizens, NRIs, and Foreign Nationals (subject to clearance).

• Qualification: Ph.D., M.D., M.S., or equivalent degree from a recognized University. Candidates awaiting their final degree award may also apply.

• Age Limit:

  • For Stipendiary: As per project guidelines (typically up to 45 years).

  • For Self-Financed: No upper age limit.

• Mentor: Applicants will be guided by a designated Mentor from NCRF/RPIHEF or a collaborative university.
