The "Last-Mile Healthcare" initiative is a strategic effort by the Ramnath Prasad Institute of Higher Education (RPIHE) Foundation to bridge the gap between medical emergencies and life-saving care. Our mission at Ramnath Prasad Hospital is to ensure that no life is lost due to the lack of timely transportation. In rural landscapes where every second counts, an Advanced Life Support (ALS) Ambulance serves as more than just a vehicle—it is a mobile intensive care unit that brings the hospital to the patient's doorstep.

The Critical Need: Overcoming the "Golden Hour" Challenge

East Champaran faces unique geographical and infrastructural hurdles that often delay medical intervention during the "Golden Hour"—the critical first hour after a traumatic injury or medical emergency. Currently, many residents rely on inadequate transport, which significantly increases the risk of mortality during transit. By equipping Ramnath Prasad Hospital with a dedicated ALS Ambulance, we aim to provide immediate stabilization and high-quality emergency transit for the most vulnerable populations in the district.

The Project: Advanced Emergency Response System

The RPIHE Foundation is expanding the capacity of the 50-bed Ramnath Prasad Hospital to include a 24/7 Emergency Response System. The proposed ambulance will be equipped with:
